For what it's worth, my 14 week old is jumping up a bit, she has just learned she can. Each time she does, I step away and she is learning when it's appropriate and when it's not. By the time my Lab, Stetson was 2 years old he was practically perfect in every way. I was training him to be a guide dog so we were working on his training pretty much 24/7.
